I need a monologue for an audition for Agatha Christie's A Mousetrap. If anyone has any website they know of or ideas, they would be greatly appreciated. (By the way, I'm a girl :)

I would suggest, instead of using the same old websites or monologue books that everyone else has, you should take a monologue from an actual play. Pick a play that has similar characters, themes, genres, etc. as the one you are auditioning from and see if you can't lift a monologue from that.

And if you take a monologue from a play, always read the whole play. You don't want to go up and do what you think is a dramatic monolgue that is actually comedic, or visa versa. Reading the play will add more layers than just a surface reading of a monologue picked at random.

Thanks for all your suggestions- I'll keep them very much in mind for my next audition. I got a part for the play Im in. Not exactly the one I wanted, but it's pretty interesting. Thank you again!
